Koalaa was founded in 2020 by Imperial College London alumnus Nate Macabuag. The London-based company makes the world's first soft prosthetic arms — lightweight fabric sleeves that are comfortable enough for very young children. Koalaa is the UK market leader in upper-limb prosthetics for children and works with clinicians and NGOs internationally, including in conflict zones.

Comfortable, can wear for hours of riding without blisters and plastic smelling arm and it's breathable on a completely different level to anything I've used before. But mainly - it completely fits the bill. Road bike arm, ticks every box from safety to helping me improve my ability on the bike.
Using the Nicole Yoga tool, the ALX sleeve has allowed me to practise yoga and pilates to my full potential after years of struggling with alot of posisitions. It's so light and comfortable, I have machine washed the arm and came out great. The variety of attachments allows you to pursue different activities which for some users would be difficult to attempt without. Everyone at Koalaa are super helpful and lovely so the whole experience of getting the prothesetic was enjoyable. Very affordable against most other prothesetics.
