Nabtesco Corporation is a large diversified Japanese engineering company headquartered in Tokyo, formed in 2003 through the integration of Teijin Seiki and NABCO. Its Accessibility Innovations division — based in Kobe, Japan — develops prosthetic knee joints and was the first in the world to develop a microprocessor-controlled prosthetic knee.
