It's All About Function
Naked Prosthetics was founded in 2011 in Olympia, Washington, after inventor Colin McDuff lost a finger in a 2010 accident and built himself a functional prosthesis from cycling parts. He joined with Bob Thompson to form the company. Naked Prosthetics makes durable, custom, body-driven finger and partial-hand prostheses — including the PIPDriver, MCPDriver and ThumbDriver — designed especially for people who work with their hands. The company has been part of Össur since 2022.
