Open Bionics' Hero Arm is a pioneering multi-grip myoelectric prosthetic arm that brought multi-articulating hand technology to a more accessible price point. Lightweight 3D-printed construction, customisable covers (including official Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars designs), and suitability for children from age 8. A cultural milestone in prosthetics as much as a technological one.
I utilize my arm for working out and throwing shot put. So I really like how it allows me to complete certain lifts with both arms, and keeps me balance from my left to right side. Other than that I like how easy it is for me to utilize many attachments for various movements (push, pull and presses). I also like how the Velcro fasteners allow me to adjust my arm to better fit my biceps! Finally I really like the opening where my hand can stick out because I do have my hand, but my forearm is significantly shortened and clubbed.
